Italian Beef Meatballs

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef (85/15)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
- 2 large eggs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 24 oz marinara sauce
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2Soak the breadcrumbs in the milk for 5 minutes in a large mixing bowl.
- 3Add the ground beef, Parmesan, eggs, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper to the bowl and mix gently just until combined.
- 4Roll the mixture into 20 evenly sized meatballs, about 2 tablespoons each.
- 5Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes until browned and cooked through to 160°F internally.
- 6Warm the marinara sauce in a large pot or deep skillet, then add the baked meatballs and simmer for 5 minutes to absorb the flavor.
- 7Serve over pasta or with crusty bread.
