Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. 2Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then lay a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each and roll up tightly, securing with a toothpick if needed.
  3. 3Toss the breadcrumbs with the melted butter and paprika, then press the mixture onto the outside of each rolled chicken piece.
  4. 4Place the rolls seam-side down in the baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F and the crumbs are golden.
  5. 5While the chicken bakes, whisk the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and heavy cream together in a small saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 4-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. 6Remove any toothpicks, slice the chicken rolls, and serve with the mustard cream sauce drizzled over the top.
