Crispy Fried Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs chicken tenders
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions
- 1Soak the chicken tenders in buttermilk for at least 15 minutes, or up to a few hours in the refrigerator.
- 2Combine the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
- 3Heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
- 4Remove the tenders from the buttermilk, letting the excess drip off, then dredge them thoroughly in the seasoned flour.
- 5Fry the tenders in batches for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F.
- 6Drain on a wire rack or paper towels before serving.
