Garlic Butter Chicken Thighs

Ingredients

  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. 1Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. 2Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the thighs for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through to 165°F, then remove to a plate.
  3. 3Lower the heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet.
  4. 4Add the garlic and red pepper flakes and cook for 30-45 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
  5. 5Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter over the top, and cook for another minute to warm through.
  6. 6Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
