Ingredients
- 6 cups peeled, sliced apples
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- 2Toss the apples with the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice, and spread into the baking dish.
- 3In a separate bowl, mix the oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt, then stir in the melted butter until crumbly.
- 4Sprinkle the oat topping evenly over the apples.
- 5Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the topping is golden and the apples are bubbling underneath.
- 6Let cool for 10 minutes before serving, plain or with a scoop of ice cream.
