Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. 2Whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. 3Cream the butter with both sugars until fluffy, then beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. 4Mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, then stir in the oats and raisins.
  5. 5Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared sheets.
  6. 6Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden and the centers still look soft.
  7. 7Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
