Pork and Cabbage Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 head green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. 1Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and cook the ground pork, breaking it apart, for 5 to 6 minutes until browned.
  2. 2Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3Push the pork to one side, add the remaining oil, and stir-fry the cabbage and carrot for 4 to 5 minutes until they begin to soften but still have some crunch.
  4. 4Mix the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar in a small bowl, then pour it over the pork and vegetables.
  5. 5Toss everything together and cook for another 2 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  6. 6Top with sliced green onions before serving.
