Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage and carrots)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes, optional
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. 1Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and cook the ground pork, breaking it apart, for 6 to 7 minutes until browned.
  2. 2Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. 3Stir in the coleslaw mix and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, tossing frequently, until the cabbage wilts but still has a slight crunch.
  4. 4Pour in the soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes, stirring to coat everything evenly.
  5. 5Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes until heated through and well combined.
  6. 6Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
