Ingredients

  • 1 fully cooked spiral-cut ham, about 8 lb
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 325°F and place the spiral-cut ham cut-side down in a baking dish, covering it tightly with foil.
  2. 2Bake for about 15 minutes per pound, or roughly 1 hour and 40 minutes, until heated through.
  3. 3While the ham bakes, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then stir in the honey, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vinegar.
  4. 4Simmer the glaze for 5 minutes, stirring often, until it thickens slightly.
  5. 5Remove the foil from the ham, brush generously with the glaze, and bake uncovered for a final 15 to 20 minutes, basting once or twice, until the glaze is bubbly and caramelized.
  6. 6Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing along the spiral cuts to serve.
