Honey Garlic Salmon

Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish
- 2 green onions, sliced, for garnish
Instructions
- 1In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes.
- 2Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and add the salmon fillets skin-side up.
- 3Sear for 4 minutes until golden, then flip the fillets over.
- 4Pour the honey garlic sauce into the pan and reduce the heat to medium.
- 5Cook for another 4 to 5 minutes, spooning the sauce over the fillets as it thickens, until the salmon flakes easily and the glaze is sticky.
- 6Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
