Tuna Noodle Casserole

Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 2 cans (5 oz each) tuna in water, drained
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, plus more for topping
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. 2Cook the egg noodles in salted boiling water according to the package directions, then drain.
  3. 3In a large bowl, stir together the soup, milk, tuna, peas, shredded cheddar, salt, and pepper, then fold in the cooked noodles.
  4. 4Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  5. 5Toss the breadcrumbs with the melted butter and sprinkle over the top, along with a little extra cheese if desired.
  6. 6Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until bubbling around the edges and golden on top.
